We are hiring for an Administrative Coordinator!
Our company provides ticketing services for consumer shows, such as "One Of A Kind" and "The Boat Show". The Administrative Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all equipment and information for each show is properly managed for a successful event, for both producers and attendees.
The position involves work in our office, our warehouse, and on-site at the shows
Responsibilities
Show Setup and Support:

assembling, adjusting, testing and cleaning equipment for shipment to shows

ensuring all software is current

on-site show setup and testing the system, network and cables

training of on-site staff at shows

preparing daily status reports

preparing and distributing scanners for lead retrieval

training exhibitors in use of scanners, ongoing monitoring and support


Administration

equipment forecasting

preparing shipping schedules, accounting for equipment usage, creating shortage reports

administering shipping checklist

preparing shipping documentation including customs

preparing and updating show manuals for all processes and new systems


Customer Service

arranging with show managers delivery schedule for equipment

working with show managers on site to ensure that all requirements are met and addressing or escalating any issues


Experience, Requirements

Comfortable with Windows based programs

Some knowledge of computer hardware, networking and wireless technology

Ability to lift equipment such as computers, printers, etc.

Availability to work long days, and a shifted work week, including week ends.

Valid drivers licence and and clean abstract.


Skills and Style

Enjoy work out-of-office, and comfortable with long hours

Excellent use of the English language, both written and verbal.

Strong customer service focus and abilities

Above average detail orientation and organizational skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritize deadlines.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.



The position is located at the Vaughan corporate office. In applying, you must have a reasonable commute time to the office.

Salary is $38K, depending on qualifications.
